Expression of interest in co-design
SHQ is developing an online training to help health care providers better support LGBTIQA+ people who have experienced intimate partner violence (IPV) and reproductive coercion and abuse (RCA).
We are looking for LGBTIQA+ people (18 years and over) with experiences of accessing health care to participate in the design process of the training material. This ensures that resources made to help LGBTIQA+ people are being made by LGBTIQA+ people.
The co-design process will involve learning about LGBTIQA+ experiences of intimate partner violence and reproductive coercion and abuse, considering barriers to LGBTIQA+ people accessing support services and brainstorming priority information to include in training for health care providers.
Please Note: We will not be asking for personal experiences of intimate partner violence and counselling resources will be available to ensure participant safety.
