Welcome to the September 2014 edition of Beyond the Bedroom.
This will be the final edition of our quarterly eNews in this format. We are happy to announce that we are moving towards more regular news updates via email, so that you can keep up-to-date with news, events, training opportunities and resources as we hear about them. Please visit our homepage at https://shq.org.au/ where you can subscribe to all our latest news.
In this edition we bring you exciting news of our rebrand. Formerly known as FPWA Sexual Health Services, our new name SHQ
(SHQ) reflects our core work in the provision of sexual and reproductive health services.
In this edition we bring you a story about how SHQ’s sexual health program Mooditj was delivered to young people in remote north Thailand. We have an update on the WA Aboriginal Sexual Health Forum taking place this November, as well as an update on the new recommendations for cervical screening. Next month also offers opportunities to get involved and celebrate women’s health and wellbeing with Women’s Health Week and International Gynae Awareness Day.
