PHAA 2nd National Sexual and Reproductive Health Conference
18-19 November 2014, Melbourne
Registrations are still open for this two day conference in Melbourne, convened by the Public Health Association of Australia. The program is now available which features presentations on issues such as the prevention and consequences of unintended pregnancy; sexual and reproductive health issues in migrant and refugee communities; and expanding access to medical abortion for Australian women. Inaugural Asia-Pacific Conference on Gendered Violence and Violations
10-12 February 2015, Sydney
The Gendered Violence Research Network (GVRN) will hold its inaugural conference on Gendered Violence and Violations at UNSW Australia (The University of New South Wales) in February. Gendered violence is increasingly recognised as a major global problem and constitutes a violation of human rights for women, men, children and elders. This ground-breaking conference will combine and expand interdisciplinary research and practitioner knowledge to encourage innovation and best practice in responding to gendered and sexualised violence.
