Safe, Well & Connected Workshop

The Women’s Community Health Network WA is hosting a workshop to develop an integrated health promotion plan for women in Western Australia. Your participation is welcome!

Date: Wednesday 26 November 2014
Time: 12:30pm – 4:30pm
Location: Women’s Health & Family Services, 227 Newcastle St, Northbridge

The workshop will bring together service providers and stakeholders in the health and community sector to develop an Integrated Health Promotion (IHP) Plan for women in Western Australia. The IHP Plan will work to promote better health outcomes among women who experience the most significant disadvantage.

Priority areas:
 Promoting mental health and wellbeing
 Enhancing sexual and reproductive health
 Preventing violence (including sexual violence) against women
 Building capacity for economic security
 Promoting a more integrated and coordinated service approach at primary, secondary and tertiary levels
 Promoting ethical sexuality and respectful relationships
 Prevention and health promotion specific to Non-Communicable Disease differences in women
