The Forum explores sexual health with a strong focus upon Aboriginal health, the challenges and opportunities we face and respectful ways of engaging with community. This year’s presenters come from across WA and from other States.
Short talks and workshops will engage you with personal experiences from the field, working with men, art as a tool for talking and listening, advocacy strategies, clinical updates, ways to access funding and more. On the Wednesday at 4pm we will be hosting an entertaining and relaxing networking Sundowner on the balcony of the beautiful Maritime Museum on Fremantle harbour.
A one day FASD workshop, presented by the Strong Spirit Strong Future team at DAO, will also be held on Friday 7 November. This workforce development training offers information on FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder),prevention strategies and skills for working with Aboriginal women of child bearing age.
