Contraception Clinical Update November 4th at 6.30-8.30pm

You are invited to this two hour early evening session on the evening before the 2014 WA Aboriginal Sexual Health Forum.
This event is recommended for clinicians with an interest in sexual and reproductive health and will be particularly valuable to those who wish to expand and refresh their knowledge of current contraception issues and recommendations.

A light supper will be served during the evening.

Nuts & Bolts of Sexual Health, six NEW evening twilight sessions in February/March 2015

Engage with this excellent course in six short early evening sessions. Usually run over 3 consecutive days, Nuts & Bolts is being offered for busy workers to attend out of normal hours.

This is SHQ’s core sexual health training program, designed to develop the fundamental knowledge, attitudes and skills required to support and inform people around sexual health issues. It has a particular focus on working with young people, including Aboriginal young people. Nuts and Bolts provides a solid foundation for all further training in sexual health, including Tools of the Trade, SHQ’s sexual health education and group facilitation skills course. Nuts and Bolts can be used towards the theoretical training for nurses wishing to complete a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health.

Limited subsidies are available for Youth Workers and eligible people working with Aboriginal communities.
