Youth Sexual Health Clinic in Perth!

Update: Our youth clinic has moved to Thursday evenings!

Sexual Health Quarters (or SHQ) have opened our youth clinic! This clinic runs every Thursday night from 5.30pm to 8pm and is focused on young people aged 14 to 19. Our nurses and doctors can help with sexual health services – STI testing and treatment, unintended pregnancy services, and contraceptive options. Like always, all services are confidential – this means that things like test results will not be shared to anyone else.

For clients aged 21 & under, our clinic is low cost or not cost. This means that most appointments are bulk billed, and they won’t have to pay an additional fee. In order to bulk bill an appointment its best to bring a Medicare card, but if you can’t get one we may be able to help with that too.

The staff at our clinic specialise in sexual health – this means that all day, every day they’re helping people with sexual health matters, so they won’t be weirded out by whatever someone needs help with. SHQ’s youth clinic is a relaxed and chill place where no one needs to feel judged, shamed or criticised.

Sometimes anxiety can get in the way of making a trip to a sexual health clinic – that’s okay! People even get nervous about going to the dentist, and it’s normal to feel nervous. The thing is, we know that it’s still important to seek help about sexual health matters so we, and our partners, can continue to be happy and healthy. Taking care of your health and feeling in control is a good feeling – it’s empowering!
