The library has a large collection of resources suitable for professionals, students and the general public. Resources include books, journals and DVDs covering all areas of sexual and reproductive health.
Some of the subject areas include:
- Conception, pregnancy and birth
- Women’s and men’s health
- Sexuality and disability
- Multicultural health
- Aboriginal health
- Ethical, philosophical and religious aspects
- Gender and sex roles
- Sexual dysfunction
- Sex education for parents, teachers, and children

There is no charge to access information in the library, but you will need to join the library if you want to borrow items.
To join the library it costs $5 per annum for individuals.
Organisations, such as schools, can join the library for $15 per annum and are entitled to hold three library cards.
Payment can be made by in person (card/cash), or over the phone (credit card).

Members are welcome to borrow the following:
4 books for 3 weeks
2 DVDs for 1 week
Items can be posted to those in rural areas, and extended loan periods/renewals can be arranged.
The Condom Game, Contraceptive kit, condom demonstrators, Magno-mate Reproductive Kit and Magno-mate Extension Pack are available to hire as well as purchase. Hire costs are $13.20 per kit, per week (including GST). Each Contraceptive Kit contains one condom demonstrator, additional demonstrators can be provided, subject to availability.
You do not need to be a library member to hire resources.

Physical copies of the resource will be available in our shop until stock runs out. There are also copies of the resource available to borrow from the Library.
