The SHQ Library and Resource Centre is currently closed to the public.
As part of a nationally consistent approach, on 23/03/2020 all cultural and art institutions in Western Australia closed in the interests of public safety in response to COVID-19. This includes art galleries, theatres, museums, and libraries across the State.
Please note: All current loans will be extended and no overdue fees will apply during this closure.
We do not have an outdoor returns chute, so you will need to hold on to the items you’ve borrowed until the library reopens.
The online shop will remain open, however there will be significant delays in processing and sending out orders. We recommend waiting to purchase until the Library and Resource Centre reopens.
If you have any questions about resources or library services, please email email@example.com during this time.
The library has a large collection of resources suitable for professionals, students and the general public. Resources include books, journals and DVDs covering all areas of sexual and reproductive health.
Items can be posted to those in rural areas, and extended loan periods can be arranged. If you would like information on a particular topic, please contact the Library and Resource Centre with your query.
The library is currently closed to the public.
There is no charge to access information but you will need to join the library if you want to borrow items. To join the library it costs $5 per annum. Organisations, such as schools, can join the library for $15 per annum and are entitled to hold three library cards.
