Important update: Roe Street Renovations

From 6 November 2023 until late February 2024, our Roe Street disability counselling rooms will be temporarily relocated for upgrades to our building. You will still be able to access our counselling services via telehealth or in-person at one of our other locations.

You can now find all disability services information here on the Sexual Health Quarters website.

This much-needed update is part of Sexual Health Quarters’ plan to make our counselling and education services more accessible. Thanks to your feedback, we will also be adding online booking and referrals later in the year.

The People 1st Programme has always been part of Sexual Health Quarters, our website may have changed but our friendly, accessible, and inclusive services remain the same.

Our team of counsellors, educators and psychologists provide holistic support services catered to people with disability, addressing the psychological, biological, and social aspects of sexuality and relationships. Our goal is to break down ableist assumptions and sexual human rights barriers for people with disability because everyone has the right to be educated, confident, safe, unashamed, and fulfilled when it comes to their sexuality and relationships.

We provide services to people with disability, parents, carers, community groups, school students, professionals, and anyone with an interest in disability.

Our services include

  • Individual counselling
  • Individual education
  • Support for parents and carers
  • School programs
  • Community programs
  • Training
