SHARE Forum: AI, Deepfakes, Image-based abuse
Join us for the second SHARE Forum of the year and hear from the Office of the eSafety Commissioner on the topic of AI, deepfakes, image-based abuse and how to support young people navigating social media and the online world.
Date & Time: Tuesday, July 29th 2025, 9am-11:30am
Location: SHQ Lecture Room (70 Roe St, Northbridge) and online via Microsoft Teams
The presentation will cover:
• the tools, behaviours, and impacts of AI-assisted image-based abuse
• what is driving the use of deepfakes
• support strategies to prevent and respond to AI-assisted image-based abuse
There will also be an opportunity to share sector and/or organisational updates, including new services, projects, offerings, and/or resources from your organisation. It is also an opportunity to network and to seek support from other organisations within the sector.
