Sex Education for LGBTIQA+ young people

Have you ever felt like the sex ed you’ve gotten hasn’t been enough, or that it didn’t think about the LGBTIQA+ people in the room? Or are you passionate about human rights and supporting your LGBTIQA+ peers?

SHQ and the Freedom Centre are inviting LGBTIQA+ teens aged 13 – 17 to a day of getting the sex education you deserve and giving feedback of what you think young LGBTIQA+ people should be learning in sex ed classes.

We’ll learn about:

  • Sexual rights
  • Respectful relationships
  • Bodies
  • Communication
  • Consent
  • Puberty
  • and more.

This is a chance to learn about these topics in a safe space, taught by the experts.
