SHARE: Engaging CaLD communities in RSE
We were once again joined by youth and health sector workers for SHARE, our network for people who work with young people around sexual health.
The topic for this months’ forum was Engaging CaLD communities in RSE with guest presentations from Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Services and MSCWA. We also heard from SHQ Educator Caren, who presented on the Hura Project, delivering co-designed, culturally respectful sessions across WA, supporting communities to understand rights, recognise forced marriage, and access support safely.
If you would like to learn more about SHQ’s Community Education team, including our work with Respectful Relationships, Consent and Sexuality Education, go to shq.org.au/education/community-education
Keep an eye on your inbox for information about the next SHARE Forum.
