Sexual Health Quarters supported by the Department of Communities will be presenting a webinar on the why, what, where and how of Intimate Partner Violence and Reproductive Coercion and Abuse (IPV/RCA) as part of the 16 days in WA campaign.
- Clinicians and community sector leaders will share thought-provoking and insightful case studies along with their practical experiences with implementing IPV/RCA screening and training within their practices and services.
- Starting with SHQ’s initial research-evidence, we will share the innovative clinical IPV/RCA research findings,
- The effectiveness of screening in recognising, responding, and supporting those at risk, and how our experiences led to the development of the Safe to Tell Project, the RACGP accredited IPV/RCA clinical training
- Successful implementation of IPV/RCA screening and training within two women’s health care organisations.
- In addition, participants will learn how they can play their part and take action towards ending IPV/RCA through the implementation of training and screening in their own practice, service or organisations.
This webinar is for anyone working in a healthcare setting.
