Following the success of last year’s celebration, The International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) Festive Market provided our clients an opportunity to promote their small businesses, such as art, Christmas cards, dog treats, soaps, and other crafts. The event showcased local enterprises and micro-enterprises run by people with disability.
This event creates a shared and public opportunity to celebrate the talents and achievements of people with disability and is in line with our service commitment to disability rights, positivity, and inclusivity. Held in Northbridge Piazza this year, the market celebrates the talents, passions, and achievements of our clients in an inclusive, supported, and safe environment. Along with highlighting their hobbies and interests, the market gives an opportunity for socialising and networking. Being open to the public this year, it also gave stall holders an opportunity to interact with members of the public.
