I am currently a doctor at the Northbridge Clinic, but between 2001 and 2008 I was the Medical Director. I have MBBS, FRACGP and DipRANZCOG, and keep my GP Vocational Registration up to date as I also work in my own general practice. Special areas of interest – I love all aspects of contraception and am interested in fertility and reproductive technology, and I am a member of the Reproductive Technology Council. What’s not to love about SHQ? Great people, well-run clinic service, teaching is a joy!
I am SHQ’s Medical Director, and I also work as a general practitioner. My prior clinical work includes senior medical registrar at King Edward Memorial Hospital, Marie Stopes International in London, and volunteer work in Peru. I have never worked with a more professional, empathetic and compassionate group of people. I feel inspired each day I am here by both the staff and our clients. I am passionate about ensuring quality sexual health care for all people, and improving access to health care services for disadvantaged groups.
I’m one of the nurses at SHQ and have worked here for eight and a half years. I love working in sexual health, love working with young people and am particularly interested in contraception. My favourite things about working at SHQ are the clients, my colleagues and seeing people walk into the clinic with lots of concerns and questions and leaving feeling reassured and empowered.
