How to ask a partner/s to use a condom
You may be wondering “…how do I ask my partner/s to use a condom…?"
Welcome
07 Jan 2021
Get ready, because it’s time of year for the most anticipated event on the sexual health calendar – National Condom Day. Coinciding with Valentine’s, National Condom Day takes place on February 14th and is the perfect chance to celebrate all things healthy relationships, and safe, consensual, and pleasurable sex.
Here at SHQ, we’ve been busy cooking up new and exciting ways to promote the big day. Working alongside our amazing consumers, it’s been a big few months of making plans, preparing resources, and packing condoms and now, we’re finally ready to share it all with you!
Building on last year’s themes, our 2021 National Condom Day campaign focuses on some of the elements we consider to be essential for creating safe and positive sexual experiences: condoms, STI testing, consent, and pleasure. After all, we know that great sex really just comes down to everyone feeling protected, respected, and enjoying themselves.
With this year’s National Condom Day set to be bigger, better, and filled with more cheesy puns than ever, we’d love for you to be a part of the action. For plenty of ideas on how to promote the day within your community, check out the National Condom Day website. There you’ll find downloadable resources like our brand new posters, banners, and bunting templates, as well as event/activity ideas, and a social media toolkit. WA-based schools and organisations can even order free condom packs, posters, and sticker sets to help spread the word.
So, mark February 14th in your diaries, make sure you’re following SHQ on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and let us know you’re going to be celebrating this year’s National Condom Day!
