Mpox Vaccine available at Sexual Health Quarters
Sexual Health Quarters has received a provision of mpox vaccines from the Western Australian and Commonwealth Governments and has begun offering vaccination appointments to high-risk groups.
Welcome

Please note this information has been updated since our e-newsletter was sent out:
The Victorian Department of Health has announced three new locally acquired cases of mpox (previously called monkeypox). Read the alert online.
Health services and clinicians are encouraged to be aware of potential cases of mpox in WA, and offer vaccination to those eligible.
WA Health are monitoring the situation and more information will be provided to stakeholders and clinicians if the situation escalates.
While the risk to the community from mpox is very low, monitor for symptoms if you have been overseas – particularly if you have visited an area with confirmed mpox cases and had sex with a new partner overseas. For further information visit healthywa.wa.gov.au or call our helpline.
