COVID-19 Policy and Information

We are open and providing quality care in-person at our Northbridge Clinic and via telehealth appointment. 

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, are a close contact of a person with COVID-19 or have been directed to isolate by Department of Health, do not attend your appointment.

Please take a RAT or get a PCR test at your nearest clinic and stay home until your result is known and your symptoms resolve. Please follow the guidelines stipulated by WA Health Department regarding isolation periods.

Our priority at Sexual Health Quarters is keeping everyone safe. We are adhering to all WA Health Department hygiene and PPE guidelines. This ensures we can continue to provide safe, accessible, and affordable healthcare.

Requirements  

As of 10th January 2023, face masks are no longer required at SHQ, however clients and staff can make the choice to continue to wear a mask.

If you have tested positive for covid, are a close contact, or experiencing a fever/flu like symptoms please inform reception on booking.

If you test positive for covid or are a close contact, please follow the WA Health guidelines.

Support persons may be asked to wait outside for the duration of your appointment due to room capacity limits, even if they provide proof of vaccination.

Hygiene and Social distancing 

  • Pay attention to all signs on display and maintain a minimum 1.5m distance from others. 
  • Avoid unnecessary physical contact (handshakes, handling other’s drinking utensils etc) 
  • Pay pass and tap and pay preferred over cash payment 
  • Please use the complimentary hand sanitiser displayed in all rooms of the building 
  • Wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds after using the bathroom 

Aggressive behaviour and any form of verbal or physical abuse against our clinicians, staff, or other clients will not be tolerated. We understand many people are currently experiencing higher levels of stress and uncertainty, please remain respectful while visiting our clinic. 

If you do not want to attend your in-person appointment, a number of our services can be accessed from the comfort of your home via telehealth appointment.
